Max OT Workouts

I would like to know has anyone used the Max OT program?
Does it actually work and has anyone completed the entire program?
Is there a better way to accomplish below listed goal?
I am 45, 6'2 and weight of approx. 200lbs. Though at this weight I have somewhat of a slim build except a little across the middle.
My goal is a weight between 210 and 215 lbs. Not trying to get into competition shape however I do want to be in the best physical shape I can.
I have a home gym that consists of a Smith Machine, bench and 300 lbs of Olympic weights.
Any assistance is greatly apprciated.
